Let us introduce you to the Purcey Fly Company. This company is owned and operated by veteran Scott Purcey and his wife Marlee. Scott had the vision of opening up a fly business after a life changing trip to Alaska through Samaritan's Purse in a program called Operation Heal Our Patriots. Scott has spent most of his life off and on fishing and fly fishing. Sixteen and a half of those years were spent with the MIchigan National Guard in two different units. He was deployed twice to Iraq back-to-back. Scott and Marlee were married in 2013. Like many veterans Scott found he lacked a sense of purpose until finding organizations that were faith based along with being outside fly fishing, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
